J’ai conçu spécialement cet archet voyageur pour violoncelle afin de faciliter les déplacement du violoncelliste d’aujourd’hui. En effet, comme vous le savez, il est de plus en plus difficile de voyager à cause des restrictions sur les matériaux utilisés en archèterie : l’ivoire, la nacre, certains cuirs etc… Et quoi de plus frustrant que de se faire confisquer ou endommager son précieux archet à cause des protocoles aux frontières. C’est pourquoi j’ai voulu vous proposer un modèle qui exclue tous ces composants, mais sans aucun compromis.

L’archet voyageur pour violoncelle

Designed to be free of all border problems, this bow is straight to the point.

Above all, I work each stick from the finest pieces of pernambuco, selected for their sonic, dynamic and aesthetic qualities.

The frog is simple, with no mother-of-pearl inlays or ornamentation. The thumbs are made of stingray leather, a resistant and abundant material that is rarely used.

This model then features a silver headplate covered with a fine strip of top-quality ebony.

Finally, the bows are also made entirely of silver, for the trim, cover, button and loop. It is also possible to have a gold frame made to order.

A top-quality vegan bow

Of course, the standard model I'm offering here is not vegan. However, it requires very few modifications to be totally vegan: a Coruss wick and a thumb latch in vegetable leather.

Classic or modern camber

In order to satisfy different playing styles, the bows are available in two different tension models:

• Classical tension, inspired above all by Tourte bows. It offers incredibly good legato and a very round sound.
• The modern tension is inspired by Sartory bows. It provides a rebound with enormous response and a very clean attack.

A baguette to suit your needs

Above all, each pernambuco stick is selected to best suit your needs. That's why I offer you a choice of three main types:

• Brillante : Cette baguette à la réponse très vive donne un son particulièrement précis et cristallin à votre violoncelle.
• Balanced: This choice is an excellent compromise between brightness and timbre.
• Timbred: This rather supple stick gives a smooth, full sound.
