Play and sound

The density of this bow is rather interesting, providing good technical capabilities and easy spicatto. It is rather versatile and will therefore play most repertoires without problem. Finally, it has a very stable drive that has no weaknesses.

NÜRNBERGER Carl Albert, 1885-1971 - Markneukirchen

From a long line of bow makers, Carl Albert began his apprenticeship in the workshop of his father, Franz Albert. With the help of his brother, also a bow maker, he created one of the world's largest bow workshops in the 1920s. Indeed, few bow makers could boast as many prestigious customers as the NÜRNBERGER family at the time. This is, of course, the result of high-precision work, combined with an artistic flair and a constant desire for improvement.
