Passion-Tradition 's Maître series offers us, above all, sumptuous cellos. Inspired by the famous cremona luthiers, they too are produced using the same craftsmanship. The workshop's most experienced craftsmen devote themselves exclusively to making the finest pieces. They select the finest woods and carefully carve every curve of the instrument. These include magnificent, highly flamed maple planks accompanied by beautiful spruce tops. These are naturally dried for many years(over 10).

The oil varnish is a superbly crafted copy of an antique. It is entirely applied and then worked by hand. Each finish is therefore unique and bears the personal touch of its creator.

The fittings(pegs, tailpiece, chinrest and knob), fingerboard and saddles are made of top-quality ebony.

A Passion Tradition Maître cello is mainly inspired by a Stradivarius model, but is available in two sizes: 7/8 and 4/4.
